The Solitude of My Room Revisited

Three years ago, I sat in a public place, dreaming and writing about the phrase, "The Solitude of my Room." Today, I write this from the solitude of not just my room, but my very own apartment... Was it a prophecy?

Alas, it was not. It was a dream, a desire. I believed it would happen, and so took actions in accordance with that, and thus it did. And now I can enjoy the rainy Pacific Northwest from the solitude of my room.

After traveling around the country for over a year, I settled in Texas for sometime. But the heat got in my head and drove me out. So I sold all my belongings and drove West, just as many people before me. The Pacific Northwest held much mystery.

And so for the past 18 months the Pacific Northwest has been my home. And just this very year I found the most magical, Harry-Potter-esque apartment to call my solitude.

All this to say that I am here, and after recently having quit my second job, my creativity and desire to share is rekindled.
